The Pillsbury Project – Lower Level

Once the dark and chilly lower level of the iconic Pillsbury Castle, this floor was ready for a new chapter. The owners wanted spaces that embraced the home’s 17th-century origins while being functional for today’s living. Our team at Vujovich Design Build meticulously restored the historic oak panels, added new walnut flooring and gas fireplaces, and incorporated modern amenities throughout. Every detail—from the restored plaster ceilings to the hidden modern comforts—was carefully crafted to honor the past while offering cozy, contemporary appeal. The result is a stunning blend of history and modernity, making it an amazing entertainment spot for the homeowners.
