Prepare for a trusted relationship unlike any other. For us, the first step in any project is a face-to-face meeting. This is when we learn about each other. You share your remodeling dreams for your home and we explain how our design and construction team helps you realize them. This meeting allows all of us to decide if we are the right fit for your project.
Once we agree to move forward with designing your space, we ask a lot of questions. To capture the essence of you and the personality of your home, we immerse ourselves in the goals and style of life that you envision for your space. Backed with this knowledge, we collaboratively design and create a singular space that is a true reflection of you from thoughtful space use to curated selections. From there, our talented build team brings those dreams to life.
Because every individual and family are unique, every project is personalized. The one constant is the relationship we cultivate with our clients. After thousands of projects through our 50 years of business in the Twin Cities, we know that remodeling isn’t always an easy experience. Our process focuses on open and communicative relationships, so we are well-positioned to help clients manage expectations and work through some of the less exciting parts of the design and build process.
Everything about our projects is custom – from the hand-selected team to the process to the delivery. This is why we have developed a team of skilled listeners who are flexible and adaptable. Your transformation team is with you every step of the way, keeping you informed and allowing you to enjoy the process.
For nearly fifty years, the evolution of Vujovich Design Build has been guided by the principles on which it was founded. The company culture of “Doing the Right Thing” applies to our clients and their homes, our co-workers, our industry partners and our community.
Leading by example came naturally for past Vujovich General Manager Ed Roskowinski. His passion for cultivating meaningful long-term relationships has been a large part of developing a company where people want to work and homeowners want to do business.
Ed was also a tireless advocate for increasing the level of professionalism in the remodeling industry. As a past president and board chair of NARI Minnesota, Ed was involved in working with local lawmakers on industry-related legislation. His experience with NARI Cares and longstanding career with Vujovich Design Build solidly backed his devotion as a dedicated instructor and mentor, helping shape the future of remodeling in Minnesota.
Ed’s legacy lives on through our team now led by Matt Schmidt. Our Vujovich employees take pride in their good works in the community and focus on business practices – some of which have been honored with awards – recognizing that our team demonstrates integrity and a strong commitment to ethics in all that they do.
The philanthropic endeavors that we are involved in are just as varied as the remodel projects we tackle. Recently, we have partnered with Wishes & More and the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. The Bluebird House and The Peace Bridge below are just two examples of how we have historically engaged with the local community.
Thousands of transformations later, we know homes – inside and out. We have nearly seen it all. This vast knowledge base is one of the benefits of working with us. We can anticipate potential surprises, making them not surprising at all.
Our intimate knowledge of construction practices, architecture, and details makes us uniquely adept at applying the right concepts to homes built in any era; making them more interesting and livable. We take great pride in designing and creating personalized living spaces that fill our clients with joy.
Over the years, we’ve have been honored with numerous industry awards including six national awards, fifteen regional awards, more than 50 Minnesota awards, plus numerous HOUZZ Design and Service awards.
