2023 Remodelers Showcase

March 31-April 2

It’s that time of year again, the Spring Parade of Homes, get excited to visit new homes and remodeled projects throughout the Twin Cities! VUJOVICH is pleased to have an entry once again this year in the Remodelers Showcase.

Located in St. Paul, this charming craftsman home lies in the heart of the Macalester Groveland Neighborhood.

Our clients had toured and admired multiple Vujovich Design Build past showcase homes and decided to partner with the team to transform their own home. Their original 50’s kitchen lacked proper function and connection to the rest of the home.

The newly transformed kitchen features a classic, timeless aesthetic that is both modern and inviting. A small addition was added to fill in the L-shaped home and accommodate a larger kitchen floorplan for the family to gather and entertain guests while also being functional for daily life. Warmth and character are now what comes to mind as you enter this space. The space houses a chef’s kitchen, a large dining island, and an upholstered bench to gather and socialize while the cook prepares meals on a cobalt blue French range. The new space includes a beautiful brass hood, creative hidden mudroom, snack station, and jewel-box powder room. The craftsman millwork and aesthetic flows seamlessly from the kitchen to the rest of the main floor.

About the Remodelers Showcase:

In 1948, Minneapolis and St. Paul became home to the original Parade of Homes. The event started with just a few new homes and has been transformed throughout the years into one of the largest home tours in the United States. In 1984, Housing First Minnesota added the Remodelers Showcase. These popular and free tour events highlight homes in the area. Housing First Minnesota is the leading voice for more than 900 builders and remodelers, representing developers, and industry suppliers with the mission of homeownership opportunities for all Minnesotans.

Key features of the home:

  • Blue and gold color palette: These colors create a foundation of craftsmanship and elegance, while the rift white oak paired with painted white cabinetry creates a light and airy feel. The design is tailored to fit the existing architecture of the home and offers a unique look that will stand the test of time.
  • Entertain or relax: Whether entertaining guests or simply enjoying a meal with family, the beauty and serenity of the design will uplift you and your guests. Its timeless style adds a touch of sophistication and provides an ideal space for gathering and conversation.
  • Gold and Brass finishes: Help incorporate the existing hardware finishes of the home. Light fixtures offer layers of lighting and continue the craftsman architecture. The stunning blue ceramic backsplash highlights the custom French range oven.

Come see our remodeled project during the Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase from March 31st-April 2nd.
