From as far back as Sydney can remember, her dream has always been to become an interior designer. Initially, Sydney spent three years working in commercial design before settling into residential design, supported by her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. For her, the most fulfilling aspect of her job is enhancing the beauty of someone’s home and transforming their space into a place they are proud to return to. Every design presents a unique opportunity, and she loves contributing to a client’s story by creating stunning finishes and spaces where lasting memories can be made. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys quality time with her family, husband, and their two goldendoodles, Archie and Enzo!
With decades of award-winning design build experience, Matt thrives on problem-solving in an out-of-the-box approach when it comes to home remodeling. His unique blend of left and right brain thinking fuels his need for creativity and for passionate pursuits to help others. His reward is hearing from clients who note how much they love their new space long after it’s been completed. As owner, Matt also revels in leading Vujovich’s exceptionally talented team of designers and knowledgable craftspeople who recreate legacy homes to be timeless in a modern world. Off the job, he is a talent guitarist who enjoys a range of genres and is devoted golfer who is happy teeing up around on Twin Cities’ golf courses. He and his wife have 4 kids (two married) and a grandchild.
Chris is a standout leader coordinating the day-to-day operations from initial designs to final punch list. With a degree in business management from St. John’s University, Chris also discovered his interest in buildings after learning to fram e houses and touring Europe admiring the range of architecture. In 1999, he joined Vujovich combining his education and interests. Our clients often rave about our on-site team who meticulously cares for their homes. While there are often surprises in the historic homes we commonly remodel, Chris notes there’s a high level of pride in finding solutions together with our knowledgeable team and curated list of subcontractors. Chris and his wife have two daughters. With Europe as a top destination, travel is a favorite activity along with hiking, biking, being at the cabin, and ice fishing.
Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to our team – and to our clients. As a project manager, he is a steady force in keeping our builds moving forward. With a bachelor’s degree in construction administraion and a master’s degree in construction engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison plus decades of hands-on experience; he understands the bones and character of the homes entrusted to us. Starting with Vujovich in 1993, he likes the challenge of each project and getting to see the final results. Paul and his wife have one daughter. Being outdoors camping, hiking, or canoeing the Boundary Waters are favorite places to be while not working on his own Minneapolis home or one for Habitat for Humanity.
