When it comes to remodels, we can’t think of a cozier lower level to ride out these cold winter days than this beautiful Edina home that has it all going on. Our client's goal was to create a family-friendly gathering space that included room for entertainment and storage. Turning this unfinished basement into a classic haven was the solution! The finished lower level is now sophisticated, cozy, and blends naturally with the rest of the home.  

From Bare Concrete to Classic Comfort:  

The lower level features an upscale entertainment space for gatherings and a kitchenette perfect for family movie nights. With built-in storage, space for a large sectional, guest bedroom, and a ¾-bath:  it is the ideal spot for quality time and extended stays. An electric fireplace provides ambiance and warmth for added appeal.   

Details Delight: 

The horizontal nickel gap surrounds the fireplace, creating dimension in the space. Symmetrical shelving was designed by our craftsmen to offer practical storage, catering to the family of five's needs.  

Harmony: 

One of our client’s wishes was to have this lower level complement the rest of the home. Wood is a considerable design aspect in other levels of the home. The continuation of natural wood is extended throughout this remodel as well with open shelving and entrance framing for a harmonious design.
