Celebrating the Transformation of Homeward Bound’s Atwood House

Another philanthropic project with our friends at Homeward Bound is complete!

Our work at Homeward Bound's Atwood House is complete. We were invited to the ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the completion of this life-changing transformation that gives residents a new family room, bathroom, laundry area, and outdoor space to enjoy.

Watch our short video above to see some familiar faces from Team Vujovich, who skillfully jumped in to lead this renovation!

“It's just amazing. And it speaks a lot to you and your relationships in the community. We are so thankful" -Lori Merriam, Homeward Bound

We are proud to support Homeward Bound’s mission to provide innovative and life-enriching services for people with disabilities. Their Atwood House has undergone a major transformation featuring a new family room, laundry area, and bathroom — all designed to help four individuals with disabilities physically navigate their shared home while enjoying fulfilling, dignified lives.

Vujovich Design Build provided design and project management services for the Atwood House project. Additionally, we extend our sincere thanks to our committed subcontractors and suppliers for their partnership and generous in-kind support:

The overall retail value of the renovation is more than $440,000, and the goal was to complete the project at or under the donated amount of $216,000.

Vujovich’s past support of Homeward Bound includes transforming the nonprofit’s Bluebird Home in partnership with Housing First Minnesota Foundation

“As they say, ‘It takes a village.’ Thank you to the community for helping make Atwood House a HOME,” said Lori Merriam, Homeward Bound’s Director of Development.
