During the Mpls-St. Paul Home Tour, April 28-29, visitors are invited to experience for themselves the stunning woodwork, leaded stained glass and rich wood built-ins throughout this century old Victorian colonial. The young homeowners of this 1904 home knew it was time to update their home to meet the needs of their growing family. The original postage-stamp sized kitchen and back porch needed to be more functional for today’s family lifestyle. Now we have a modernized open concept kitchen that ties into the original architecture of this classic home. The kitchen features handmade tiles, beautifully stained rift sawn custom cabinetry with a built-in coffee bar.

• The new mudroom addition is packed with floor-to-ceiling storage, views to the backyard, and a beautiful encaustic tile floor.
• A new nursery became top priority when homeowners announced the coming arrival of their first child.
• The upstairs hall bath was updated with built-it medicine cabinet, custom vanity, and frameless shower adorned in handmade tiles.
